Southwest Virginia Pride, Inc. goes beyond being a pride celebration – we are dedicated to giving back to our community. We celebrate pride 365 days a year by actively engaging with and supporting organizations throughout Southwest Virginia.
Our volunteer group, the Rainbow Squad, along with our dedicated board members, actively participate in volunteering initiatives throughout the communities of Southwest Virginia

Business Ally
The SWVA Pride Business Ally Program is committed to creating and promoting LGBTQ+ safe spaces. Businesses and organizations can demonstrate their support by prominently displaying our decal on their storefronts or websites, signaling to the LGBTQ+ community that they are welcome, valued, and assured of a safe environment.
Pride Forward
Pride Forward Mentorship Program, is an initiative designed to empower emerging LGBTQ+ organizations. This program offers comprehensive guidance to mentee organizations. Through "Pride Forward," Southwest Virginia Pride aims to foster independence and success within the LGBTQ+ community, sharing our experience and expertise to inspire the growth of Pride organizations.
